CREATIVITY CLASSES
Creativity is an inborn trait. We just forget that it is there from time to time. Many times I hear clients declare "I am not creative!". Later, they often add "...but I used to be."
Creativity is natural to us, and the blocks to creativity are habits of thought we accumulated along the way.
Many people feel creatively expressed in specific areas of their lives, but blocked in others. In my classes and individual sessions I teach people tools to help them unblock both in art, and in their lives. We also make art as a way to explore putting the concepts into practice, using a wide variety of media.
For most of my clients, the art-making experience brings them a great deal of peace and inner satisfaction. As one client put it, "it makes me feel like I'm 'home'".
I am available to teach classes and to work with individuals in my studio or at other locations.

Here is an opportunity to create your collage for 2008 in which you make visible your wants for the year. All supplies will be included and waiting for you, all you need to do is show up with your goals for 2008! Lucy will provide instruction on creating your collage, as well as any creativity coaching as needed along the way. Michelle and Julianne will also be there, working on creating their own years. FIND YOUR FOCUS WITH ART: Taking a Brain-Vacation

During this art-making class, you will learn how take a mini brain-vacation using the scribble drawing technique. Taking brain-vacations can help you to clear your mind so that you can refocus on the task at hand with new energy. Mini brain-vacations with art are also a great way to reduce stress. Questions? TRANSCEND YOUR INNER CRITIC

All of us are stopped in our tracks at some point by our inner voice of self-judgment. Using art, you will "meet" your inner critic and visualize how you would like to transform this critic. TRUE SELF COLLAGE

We all have a True Self that sometimes becomes buried in our day to day lives and stresses. During this collage-making class, you will become reacquainted with that True Self, while also creating a visual representation of your True Self that will serve as a reminder of who you really are.
